Rome, Italy

After a long weekend last weekend, we decided to stay close for the weekend of February 16th. We left on Friday morning for Rome and retuned on Sunday afternoon to Florence. This was my second time to Rome, but it was amazing to see it again. On Friday, we saw the Colesseum and Pantheon, and went to dinner later that night. Saturday, we saw the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, and Villa Borghese. We wrapped up the weekend with dinner in Campo Fiore and I had a delicious scampi risotto. Afterwards, we went to a couple of bars and got some drinks. Sunday morning we grabbed breakfast and trained back home to Florence. It was the perfect, short getaway weekend to Rome!
