Bring a travel backpack, I used mine every weekend instead of a carry on
Get an international phone plan or new SIM card
Don’t bring USD, you’re not going to use it
For the colder months, pack clothing items you can layer with
Keep important belongings in a cross-body bag or purse
Bring comfortable shoes you can walk a lot in
Have universal adapters for the outlets
Bring your own medicines/ feminine products, you cannot get the same stuff in Europe
When traveling to your study abroad country, pack a carry on with all your important/essential items and a change of clothes in case your checked bag gets lost or delayed
Enjoy your study abroad as much as possible, take a lot of pictures and don’t forget to try the unique foods from different places!
I hope this is helpful. Please feel free to reach out to me individually if you have more specific questions!
