The first week of classes was exciting but also hard in the sense that I have not attended a class since December. The classes here are designed completely different from classes in Hawai'i. All of my midterms and final exams are structured to be short answers only. I am really looking forward to being challenged in this way and learn things I would have never learned back home in Hawai'i! Additionally, the buildings of Lorenzo de'Medici are scattered across city center Florence, meaning there is no central campus. Each building and class room are unique, making the experience of studying in Italy that much more exciting. Luckily, I only got lost once or twice!

These are the five classes I am taking while studying at Lorenzo de' Medici (LdM):

  • BUS 252 - Wine Business & Marketing

  • LIT 301 - History of Early India: India in the Global Classical World (UH Faculty Resident Director Course)

  • BUS 312 - International Marketing

  • BUS 310 - Global Business & Society

  • FAS 235 - Visual Merchandising
